Patient Planning Pays Off -

One good trick to planning a great art exhibition is planning. Over the past couple of years I have acquired a number of good habits. Such as:
1) Having a firm idea of the concept of the art show.
2) Create a show title and a one paragraph summary of the work.
3) Decide approximately how many pieces of work that you need for the exhibition space, and what size.
4) If you are able to buy the canvas or supplies beforehand it can help to create all of the art in the same span of time. It helps with the overall cohesiveness of the show.
5) Do all of your research, photographs etc, beforehand so you have when you get started you don't have to interrupt your artistic flow with details that could be have been completed before you started.

Trust me, I know how hard it is to hold back and plan, but its worth it in the end.
