The bliss of colour mixing

One of my rules for myself as a professional artist is to always remember to enjoy the process. The act of mixing colours before they are put on the canvas is in itself a very enjoyable act. The exhileration when I get a colour "just right" reminds me why I love to paint and create. There are many artists out there that paint purely to experience the process of creation, a fact that I always remind myself before I begin a new series.
