Collage, Collage and More, Collage...

I have been evolving as an artist at a rapid pace, with the introduction of two new methods of art creating: collage, and lino cuts. Collage has enough endless possibilities to last me a lifetime, and most importantly..it's fun. I just love thinking outside the box, and creating layer upon layer of details on a canvas. My other new technique was spawned from my need to have more fun creating paintings with birds. My first attempt at birds was very beautiful, but very time consuming. And I am all about spontaneity and fun when I create. So I began carving my own lino cuts (which is essentially a homemade stamp.) The fun is back! I have a whole pile of bird lino cuts to play with when I feel a bird painting coming on.
